ASUS introduced Eee PC 1101HA Seashell
Computer, Featured | sam | July 13, 2009 at 11:41 amAsus has already unveiled the features and pricing the the range in Eee PC Seashell, this is an ultra thin and elegant design with a great sleek look like apple mac bookair.
The components within the Seashell 1101HA are standard netbook fare ? with an Intel Atom processor (albeit one running at 1.33GHz, rather than the more regular 1.6GHz), 1024MB of memory and a 160GB hard drive.
Features include:
Intel Atom Z520 processor
11.6 inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels
802.11n Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
three USB ports
VGA-out port for hooking up external displays.
There’s also an integrated memory card reader
Webcam neatly integrated into the top of the display.
8.5 hours of operation?with its 6-cell battery
Weight of 1.4 kg
Usability is better than most, with a large and comfortable keyboard. It could be slightly firmer ? rattling under use ? but it’s responsive and large enough to type at speed. The touchpad is also big and comfortable, featuring gesture support than makes zooming slightly easier.
The newest addition to the Eee PC family will be available as of May 15th in the UK for ?379 (about $565).

Remember this is a netbook.
The purpose of a netbook is just to use internet. I have seen a netbook it dont have a CD-ROM as well. My colleague has the operating system installed in Arabic and I was woundring how to install english windows in it
You cannot do your work easily, like if you open word, the toolbar appears on half of the screen.
For me it was much difficult to work with.
